BYO Picnic or purchase Afternoon Tea & Snacks from  the Alexandra Lion’s BBQ.
BYO liquor and wine or purchase on course at very reasonable prices and support the local Lions club.

  Sunday  February 15 Tribute to the Light Horse

  • Picnic Racing with a special tribute to the Light Horse.  It is 90 years since the soldiers of the Australian Light Horse returned from the battlefields of Europe and the Middle East. Many families in the district have connections to the Victorian 8th and 9th Light Horse and this is our tribute to the soldiers and the horses they left behind.

  • Let the bookies look after your local, country and interstate punting
  • Slip, slop, slap and wear a hat.

    

 

   Saturday  March 7    Stonelea Alexandra Cup

  • logoThis is our most formal meeting of the season and celebrates the Alexandra Cup. Stonelea Country Estate is run by George Watkins and family, a wonderful family providing, wonderful, world class accommodation and wonderful support for the Alexandra Race Club.Beautiful frocks and beautiful people.
  • In addition this meeting is dedicated to the older people in our district especially those at Darlingford Nursing Home.
  • Local Melbourne and Interstate betting with the bookies or on the TOTE

   Saturday March 28 Highland Fling

  • Wrap up the in season with tartan.

  • Enjoy the atmosphere provided by the Hawthorn City Pipe band and the O'Brien and Noonan families to farewell our season.

  • Presentations will be made to Alexandra's Leading Rider and Trainer.

  • Local Melbourne and Interstate betting with the bookies or on the TOTE.
